Woop De Doo Kids/ Smarty Paints will be closing our location at 712 East Bay Ave on August 31, 2008.  This news is very bittersweet to us, after 5 yrs of Painting, Playing and Partying with you it is sad to say goodbye; however, after much deliberation it was not the right time or place for us to sign on again. 

As for the future….

Sherry will continue her career as a party and event planner bringing you the ultimate in kids parties with Confetti Party Works. You can also check out her brand new venture in  Brick a one of a kind OUTRAGEOUS Little Girls and Teens Salon and Spa called Sparkle Diva Spa.  It will be like nothing you’ve seen before.  Mommy and Me salon and spa services, Moms services with onsite kiddie care center, birthday parties and awesome events for the girlie girl in us all.  Check out their website at www.sparkledivaspa.com.  She will be offering a special Grand Opening deal to any customer who mentions that they were referred by Woop De Doo Kids.  It is something that is not to be missed!!

As for Mrs. Stephanie…  After having my fourth baby this year I am ready to take a break from the Art & Party business for a while and reconnect with my family and my home.  I am eager to spend a little time cleaning out the closets and enjoying being a stay at home mom.  For the future – who knows??  I am thinking of doing a party/craft in a box program,  where all you need to run a great party or complete your craft is packed up for you ready to go!   These packages would be priced affordably for home parties, Girl Scout troops, class moms etc.  I will also continue to do custom offsite parties at your location, hall or backyard!  In the meantime when the time is right and a great location comes my way  I am sure to be partying with you all again!  Jump on our website and join our email list to stay posted on the future endeavors of Smarty Paints and Woop De Doo and for now thank you all for your patronage throughout the years!  It has been wonderful getting to know all of you and your families through classes, events and parties.  I will greatly miss my days at Smarty Paints, but I look back on this time with a smile!!  It was a wonderful messy ride!!!  As they say when each door closes a new one opens sign on to www.woopdedokids.com to stay tuned to what comes next!!!!  I bid you a bittersweet Farwell!
