Welcome to the most popular conspiracy theories of all time!

Now, a conspiracy theory mainly involves illegal activities carried out by people in powerful and influential roles to gain various benefits from the people.

Most of the followers of these theories believe that multiple leaders in the international arena – politicians, entrepreneurs, and religious leaders, are teaming up in order to favour certain a certain movement or outcome. But are they true? Or just a conspiracy theory?

Below we go into detail in regards to some of the most popular conspiracy theories of all time.

#1. The Moon Landing Was Staged Conspiracy Theory:

moon landing

That’s one small step for manone giant leap for mankind. Those were the famous words that came from Neil Armstrong, the first man to walk on the moon on July 20, 1969!

But could these be the famous words behind one of the greatest conspiracy theories known to man?

The Fake Moon landing has been at the centre of conspiracy theorists for the past 50 years. Questions have been raised about whether NASA ever went to the Moon at all. This is a huge allegation that’s bigger than the moon itself, but one that conspiracy theorists just won’t let go of.

The two main questions I asked myself when writing this article:

  • How could 12 astronauts and the many people involved keep such a secret?
  • What would NASA or the US Government gain from hoaxing such an event?

With many questions and details to ponder and investigate, a significant piece to this puzzling theory that could hold some clues is the actual “filming” of the moon landing itself.

Was the moon landing filmed?

If the moon landing were staged, then it would have had to be filmed secretly in a studio and it would take one talented director to pull this giant mission off. The man behind the accused fake filming is the legendary Standley Kubrick.

Standley Kubrick was the mastermind behind the film 2001 Space Odyssey and Eye’s Wide Shut. Kubrick was known as an insider to the elite and could have known things that were forbidden to be spoken about. With that said, his films seem to tell us more than he ever could have said through his artistic placings of coded messages, symbols, and clues to secret information in his films.

Fiveredpears points out some possible signs Kubrick was involved in the “fake” moon landing here.

Ozy.com writes an article on the 81-year-old former Hollywood cameraman Max Canard who talks about meeting Standley Kubrick and the role he played in the greatest conspiracy theory in mankind.

#2. The 9/11 Inside Job Conspiracy Theory

911 conspiracy

On 11 September 2001, humankind witnessed one of the most shocking terrorist attacks in history. Four commercial planes were hijacked with the passengers aboard, by 4 radical terrorists. The World Trade Center, the Pentagon, and a Pennsylvania field were the destinations of these attacks.

This event marked the beginning of the War against Terror, where the United States of America publicly declared war on terrorism. Shortly after the cataclysm and the declaration, conspiracy theories quickly begin to arise.

Many experts argue that the origin of this theory is the surprise that it caused to know that such harm was made by only a few men with low-tech weapons. So it is the natural response to doubt such unusual tragedies. And to this day people around the world still question what really happened.

Another of the factors that helped the formulation of such suspicions was the incongruence between the reports and the actual outcome of the tragedy. One of those disparities is the fact that only two planes crashed in New York that day, and still, three towers collapsed.

According to the Daily Star “America seemingly had the most powerful air force in the world but failed to intercept any of the planes that day”. Nevertheless, detractors argue that those days after the incident were huge chaos. Therefore, it was hard for the people to clearly think about what was going on. It was also unprecedented, so there was no standard procedure to follow.

What Were The Casualties?

2,996 people were reported dead including the 19 hijackers with more than 6,000 others injured. However, it doesn’t stop there as the deaths continue to rise from the diseases and cancer connected to the toxic cloud created by the attacks. Asbestos.com say’s “400 tons of pulverized concrete, glass, and asbestos, which causes mesothelioma, as well as poisonous gases and other dangerous substances. Not to mention the effect it had on people’s mental health.

Some conspiracy theorists would also claim that certain deaths of the victims family’s, volunteers or witnesses were silenced to their death mysteriously. But why? Some witnesses of the attacks would say they witnessed the bombing come from the ground up. Watch this video to judge for yourself.

Controlled Demolition:

Conspiracy theorists say the collapse of the North Tower, South Tower, and/or the 7 World Trade Center was caused by explosives installed in the buildings in advance.

According to Wikipedia Demolition theory proponents, such as Brigham Young, Steven E. Jones, and architect Richard Gage, argue that the aircraft impacts that resulted in fires could not have weakened the buildings sufficiently to initiate a catastrophic collapse. “The buildings would not have collapsed completely at the speeds that they did”.

One of the biggest players who had been pointed out is the government of the United States of America. It was implied they used the situation for lobby against terrorism and in favour of invasions. Iraq and the Afghanistan war happened shortly after the Twin Towers episode, leading to the re-election of the president at the time G. W. Bush Jr. The conspiracy theorists argue that the government knew what would happen and planned the event so the public could justify and support a war on Iraq.

#3. The JFK Assassination Conspiracy Theory

JFK

On November 22, 1963, President John F.Kennedy was assassinated by a gunshot while travelling in a motorcade in Dallas, Texas. This event shook the nation and sparked allegations of cold-blooded murder. Although this theory hasn’t been proven, Jim Marrs an American newspaper journalist and New York Times best-selling author investigated JFK deaths in extensive detail.

Jim Marrs book, Crossfire: The Plot That Killed Kennedy, became a best seller and caught the attention of director Oliver Stone. Stone began to base Marrs book on his film JFK starring Kevin Cosner. Marrs claims that the film is the closest people will ever see to the truth.

#4. The Vaccine Conspiracy Theory

black child and vaccine

Epidemic events have shown that there is a growing belief in the people that vaccines are harmful to their children’s health.  They argue that vaccines may cause autism and other mental conditions such as epileptic seizures, allergies, multiple sclerosis, and sudden infant death syndromes.

Even though some of these claims have been disproven thanks to medical evidence, there is still a stain in the vaccination history. This particular conspiracy theory does not come up anywhere. Up until 1999 vaccines used to have Thiomersal. This was a preservative to avoid the contamination of the doses. This ingredient was very dangerous as it contained the element of mercury.

Despite the great efforts from multiple medic organizations to discard these vaccines and create new ones without that component, many people still do not trust them because of this particular incident.

On the other hand, there are numerous examples of how the avoidance of vaccines ends up provoking a medical catastrophe. One of the most recent events that have discouraged the support to this theory is the Romanian measles epidemic that took place in 2016. During this tragedy, several of the infected were not vaccinated and were not in favour of doing so. Therefore the government had to step in, and practically force them to make use of the vaccine to prevent future episodes.

There is a huge concern regarding this controversial debate as the World Health Organization has identified the refusal to vaccinate children as one of the biggest threats to health for the years to come.

In multiple countries, the vaccination process is obligatory for every child. Therefore the ones against the vaccines demand their individual liberty to decide whether they want, or not, to apply these vaccines to their children.

Multiple artists and actors around the globe including Robert Schneider and  Robert DeNiro have spoken in favour of this conspiracy theory. Robert DeNiro recommends everyone see the controversial documentary Vaxxed, which was eventually pulled from the Tribeca film festival.

#5. The Illuminati Conspiracy Theory

illuminati

This conspiracy theory has been around for many years and is one of the most popular conspiracies on this list.

The Illuminati is an elite organization run by top bankers, politicians, and oil tycoons that manipulate the world through many mediums such as the media, education, the banking systems and much more.

But is this a conspiracy theory, or a conspiracy truth?

To find out why I think this is not a conspiracy theory, read the article: Who are the people in the Illuminati, and what do they want to decide for yourself.

#6. The Climate Change Conspiracy Theory

earth

Who hasn’t heard about this theory?

Climate change sceptics use data that apparently proves that the emission of CO2 is minimal; therefore it can only have a minor effect on the climate per se. They also argue that scientists have a hidden agenda to get monetary benefits from the illusion of climate change.

The theory gained strength with the incident of the Climatic Research Unit leak when a set of emails were retrieved from their computers and were leaked to the audience. The emails contained information about the data regarding the lack of precision on global warming measurements and their inability to truly monitor the warming flows.

Climate change promoters have constantly been deploying evidence of this phenomenon and how man’s activities are the leading cause of it. Even since the last century, scientists have shown great concern over this issue, studying the evolution of earth and its constant degradation. Particularly nowadays, scientists have been obliged to come up with more solid and accurate information as the detractors grow in number every day.

There have been investigations and nothing has been found regarding their hidden agenda. Neither links nor secret plans are occurring among climatologists and environmentalists.

Whether this theory is true or not, the actions of mankind do play a significant role when it comes to Mother Nature.

Are these conspiracy theories true?

The world is full of controversial topics, there will always be debates and accusations from conspiracy theorists. However, solid evidence would have to be presented to turn these theories into truths, yet such evidence, if any, isn’t so transparent to the public eye.

In many cases, these theories can be dismissed merely based on the number of people involved. Multiple theories like vaccinations or climate change fraud are very hard to believe as they involve too many people and have scientific support.

Ultimately it is up to you to decide.
